"Cinematic" Green/Blue-ish Color Grading:
- Associated with coldness, uneasiness, anxiety, metallic quality, depression/suppression, grittyness, age/ oldness, Neon/ Fluorescent, Urban Experience, Indoor Lighting/ Walls, Systemic/ Industrial
- Affinity of Hue and Saturation
- Low Saturation to allow colors blending (almost no red)
- Higher Contrast in Brightness/Value of the color
- Enhance Texture because of contrast in brightness??
- How easy to alter space
Slightly different feeling:
- Background elements (used shoes/ warm brown color) gives the image warmth
- Contrasting bright red helps eyes move around on the image
-Used Machine + Shoes --> Craftsmanship --> Human Warmth
Peacefulness/ Harmony: Affinity of Luminance and Saturation
- Carefree, liberating, peaceful quality I try to achieve in these images
- High Brightness/ Colors are very tinted --> Low contrast and smooth transition
- Low Saturation
-Pastel Colors, Cool hues (Cool red/ Cool blue) blend with each other harmoniously
-Landscape Ukiyo-e???
Pure Color: Affinity of Hue
- Strong Visual Intensity- Stylized and Subjective
- Tweak Saturation/ Brightness to not make it look cheap
- Lomography????
Warmth vs Coldness
- warm red vs cold red/ warm blue vs cold blue- Warm/ Coziness VS Cold Outdoor
- Emphasize mood by grading the image
Warm Yellow (INDOOR) VS Cold Red+Blue+Green (OUTDOOR)
- Warm Red and Cool Green
- High Saturation and Invasive quality --> Looks modernExamples:

Big signs with high value/ low saturated color, as if overwhelmed by the bleakness of the environment. There is metaphor/ subtext in this use of color. I immediately get that it is a dystonia world, the happiness we see is empty and superficial. Attention grabbing advertisements to boost consumerism.
- The green grading affects us emotionally, but logically as a viewer I know that it's intentional. I'm still detached because of the obvious intention. The last one is way more scary because the image becomes our reality. This is my experience when I look was scrolling through his works.
